There is heavy tension all over Nigeria, even in the Presidency, SOLACE NIGERIA leart, as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu resurfaces after over one year of his disappearance following the invasion of his home by the Nigerian military. Kanu was today October 19 captured in a live video where he was praying in Jerusalem.

Should a referendum be held on Biafra?

Sharing the news, one of the members of the pro-Biafra group, Ibe Amarachi wrote:

“This is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Supreme Leader Of The Indigenous People Of Biafra praying live at Jerusalem.

“Enemies of Biafra, are sobbing and crying, for The Great Lion Of The Tribe Of Biafra Is Back.

“Lovers Of Freedom, The Battle Has Just Begun. Evil Gossips And Bastards shall bow.
Their faces will be mudded with shame and our Generation Must Restore Biafra.”

The video which lasted for 7 minutes showed the IPOB leader reading the Torah and inaudibly praying at the wailing wall.

This is coming few months after we reported that over 2000 IPOB women who took went on a peaceful protest in OwerriImo State were teargassed by officers attached to the Imo Police Command.

Vanguard gathered that some of the IPOB women who wore black attire with some of them topless were also arrested by the police shortly after they started the protest from Okigwe Road. Some of the women stated that there would be no election in Igbo land in 2019, while others expressed their unhappiness that pro-Biafra agitators have been intimidated for expressing their views.

The women who disclosed that it was not a wrong step for them to demand a country called Biafra, however, scrambled for safety after over 100 Imo police officers with their patrol vans went after them and further teargassed them during the peaceful protest.
